Steno-S Conference and Recording Software
In the past, minutes of meetings and conferences used to be recorded onto tape and notes handwritten. With the all new Steno-s Conference & Recording Software, this will enable you to digitally record, play-back and easily navigate through your recording of speech or music signals on your computer. The Steno-S software can also link with Microsoft Word. This enables the user to import the meeting agenda items and notes (from Steno-S software) into Microsoft Word. The Steno-S software also puts a playback control window in Word, so the secretary for eg. can play/stop/ff/rew or jump to a certain marker point within the recording, and type the minutes of the meeting into the Word document.
Basically, Steno-s is an audio recorder and player giving you the special option to place markers in your recordings. You can use Steno-s to record conferences, meetings or presentations, mark and label important passages; embed documents or data in your audio recordings and open them again later at a defined playback position; or use the Steno-s ’burn CD option’ to simply copy all data in one go to a CD to make the information available for distribution.
There are three versions of Steno-S sosftware available: Office, Conference and Professional.
The difference being that the Professional and Conference version will support RS-232 commands from a Crestron control system.
Beyerdynamic also produce a USB boundary microphone (MPC70USB) that is ideally suited to work in-conjuction with Steno-S software. The MPC70 USB has been developed for connection to PCs with USB port. Therefore it can be used for digital audio recordings on PCs.
Due to its unobtrusive design, the MPC 70 USB is ideal for audio recordings of conferences, meetings or round table discussions with a maximum of 10 participants.
